PolyGone wins Ballard Spahr Accelerator Competition (6/9/22)

This week marked the end of the year-long Ballard Spahr BASE (Ballard Academy for Student Entrepreneurs) accelerator program. This program awarded Polygone $10,000 in pro bono legal support in addition to weekly educational seminars from legal and accounting experts for emerging startups. The program culminated in "BASE Jump," an opportunity for the entrepreneurs to present their enterprise to a panel of potential investors composed of four leaders in Philadelphia's early stage investment community. The BASE Jump additionally  serves as a pitch competition, awarding outstanding teams with additional pro bono legal support. After presenting, PolyGone was awarded first place for their pitch, beating out every other team in the program to receive an additional $5000 in legal support.
