The annual Empower Pitch Competition, hosted by the Princeton Entrepreneurship Council, was held in New York City this year from April 26th to April 28th. Our Co-Founder, Yidian Liu, was invited to speak as a panelist to share her role in the green technology space.

The Empower Pitch Competition celebrates women and researchers commercializing technology in various STEM disciplines. Applicants compete for over $135,000 of cash and in-kind prizes. Researchers and founders alike were invited to apply and the event was opened for the public to attend.

Aside from the competition, attendees received the opportunity to network with fellow founders and engage with experts across the three common stages of university-based startups: launching, funding and scaling their technology.

PolyGone received $10,000 as a second runner-up of the competition.
